We believe that the Christian church should look different than the fallen world we live in, so why don’t we? Our divorce rate is about the same, our children are involved in pre-marital sex like the world, and we are not experiencing the Fruit of the Spirit (Galatians 5:22-23.)

I believe that the problem for believers is in their self-image which is damaged by the flesh, the world and the Devil. Our ministry is involved in helping the believer, with the help of the Holy Spirit resident within them, to develop the “Christ Like” self-image by renewing their mind (Romans 12:2) and seeing themselves as their heavenly Father sees them (Proverbs 23:7).

Something to think about: If a person can knowingly commit a sin and not feel the conviction of the Holy Spirit for committing that sin (feels like guilt), they may not have truly accepted Christ Jesus as their Lord and Savior! If a person is experiencing guilt, there is good news and bad news. The good news is that you are one of God's children. The bad news is that the guilt will drive you into depression. To relieve the guilt you must go to the Father and repent of your sin (turn away from) and ask forgiveness. Once you receive forgiveness, you must forgive yourself.
